The FKE Management Board today convened on the 3rd of December at the Windsor Golf Hotel for an induction session for our newly elected Board Members. The induction offered a platform for the Board Members to discuss FKE’s mandate, structure, operations, and strategic direction; the role of the Board in governance and strategic oversight; and the functions of the Board Committees and Regional General Committees.
The session was chaired by Dr. Gilda Odera, FKE National President, supported by Mr. Michael Macharia, 1st Vice National President, and Mr. Laurence Okelo, 2nd Vice National President. Board Members in attendance included Mr. Geoffrey Odundo, Mr. Wayne Cook, Dr. Rachael Monyoncho, Mr. Wesley Siele, Mr. Crispin Achola, and Mr. Thomas Odongo.
The FKE Secretariat team was led by Ms. Jacqueline Mugo, EBS, Executive Director, accompanied by staff members Stephen Obiro, Samson Mugwe, Dickens Ouma, Geoffrey Maumo, Grace Kaome, Lionel Omondi, Janet Mommanyi, and Violet Shisiali.
The Board also received an update on the ongoing review of the FKE Constitution and progress on the New FKE Headquarters Building Project, both key strategic priorities for the Federation.
