Federation of Kenya Employers (FKE) builds the capacity of employers, employees and other stakeholders in Labour and Industrial Relations.

One of such training is the “Effective Industrial Relations for New Union Officials” which exposes employees to  the legal basis of Industrial Relations in Kenya, application of the Employment Act, same principles in Grievance Handling Mechanisms and gives an understanding on the key steps to take in disciplinary procedure at the workplace.

On 24th – 25th February 2022,  twenty new union officials of Kenya Breweries Limited (KBL) benefited from this capacity building program that was held  at the Tom Mboya Labour College in Kisumu.

Our extensive training programme is aimed at addressing current and emerging business challenges. It covers training on labour laws, outsourcing, discipline management, dispute resolution, negotiation skills, managing employment contracts, compensation management, employee wellness, productivity and Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) among others.
