FKE joined other Employer organizations from Tanzania, Uganda, Ghana, and Tunisia for the annual Female Future program review. A leadership program implemented by FKE and sponsored by the NHO to strengthen gender equality in the workplace, improve women’s representation in management and control, and draw more women to the top echelon of the private and public sectors.
This meeting was held in Oslo Norway and hosted by the Norwegian Employers Confederation (NHO). FKE was represented by MS. CHRP Grace Kaome, HR & Admin Manager and Female Future Coordinator together with Ms. Moureen Wahu from the FKE Girls & Tech Program. A program also implemented by FKE and sponsored by the NHO to encourage girls to pursue STEM subjects and bridge the inequality gaps in STEM careers.
During this meeting, the implementing countries reviewed the milestones made in the program so far, the achievements, and plans moving forward.
FKE Female Future program celebrated its 10th anniversary in 2023 and has so far built capacity of close to 400 ladies in middle and senior management in leadership and board competence.
FKE remains committed to the promotion of gender inclusion.
