Arbetsförmedlingen, the (Swedish Public Employment Service) and the Federation of Kenya Employers (FKE) convened for a meeting on the 31st of October 2024 to discuss a tripartite partnership involving FKE, Arbetsförmedlingen, and the National Employment Authority (NEA).
Central to the discussion was the collaboration on developing and implementing the National Employment Management Information System (NEMIS), which is designed to improve recruitment processes for job seekers in Kenya.
This innovative system aims to tackle critical labour challenges, including gender inequality and the exclusion of individuals with disabilities from job opportunities.
By promoting inclusive hiring practices, the NEMIS system will play a vital role in fostering a more equitable workforce in Kenya.
