On the 25th of April 2024 and the 3rd of May 2024, the Federation of Kenya Employers (FKE) held her 63rd Mombasa Branch Annual General Meeting and her 35th Nakuru Branch Annual General Meeting (AGM) respectively. The theme of the AGMs was "Enterprise Resilience and Sustainability," emphasizing the importance of adapting to the evolving business landscape.
The events were graced by several distinguished guests, including Amb. Paul Mukumbya, Consulate General of the Republic of Uganda for the FKE Coast Branch AGM, and Mr. James Nyamongo, MBS, CEO, Nairobi Hospital, for the Rift Valley Branch AGM. Also in attendance were FKE Regional Presidents, Dr. Sam Ikwaye, Coast Regional President, and Mr. Kenneth Odire, Rift Valley Regional President, as well as members of the respective branches, the Executive Committees, FKE Board Members, and esteemed members of the FKE. In addition to this, the FKE Coastal Branch held elections, and Dr. David Kisa was elected as the newly elected president of the region.
Ms. Jacqueline Mugo, Executive Director & CEO of FKE was present at each AGM, delivering comprehensive speeches highlighting the key achievements and initiatives of FKE in 2023 and addressing regional issues that demanded attention.Ms. Mugo expressed gratitude for the continuous support of FKE members in the regions and outlined the various services provided by FKE.
Ms. Mugo announced upcoming events and initiatives, including the Employer of the Year Awards, the Employers Annual Conference, and various training opportunities. She urged members to actively participate and leverage FKE's value-added services to enhance their organizational capabilities.In conclusion, Ms. Mugo expressed gratitude to the Regional Presidents, Executive Committee, and Secretariat for their leadership and dedication. She reiterated FKE's commitment to collaboration and innovation in navigating challenges and fostering prosperity and sustainability.
