The Federation of Kenya Employers (FKE) prides herself on enhancing the skills of employers and their workforce across Kenya - through capacity-building. In her latest training initiative, FKE hosted a training workshop on Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) for KenGen (Kenya Electricity Generating Company Limited) at the Kenya Industrial Training Institute (KITI) in Nakuru from the 22nd to the 26th of July 2024.

 

KenGen officers were taken through the Art of Collective Bargaining Agreements which entailed Best Practices in implementing and managing CBAs, and tips to avoid pitfalls in the CBA cycle.

 

The FKE faculty comprised of Mr. Thomas Achok, the FKE Coordinator – Western Kenya, Senior Industrial Relations Officer, Mr. Robert Muthanga, Mr. Lincoln Aveza, COTU Associate Lecturer at Tom Mboya Labour College, Kisumu, and Mr. Eric Munyobi, the FKE Consulting and Training Manager.
