About The Event

The Federation of Kenya Employers (FKE) in collaboration with the International Labour Organization (ILO) is honored and delighted to invite you to the premier workshop on Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) Reporting for Businesses to be held on 25th – 26th October 2022 at the Hylise Hotel in Naivasha.

Over the last few years, ESG initiatives have become a strategic imperative for nearly all organizations. Investors, regulators, employees, suppliers, consumers, and other stakeholders have increased their focus and pressure on ESG measures, making it not only critical at the board level but also necessary to cascade throughout the operations of all organizations.

ESG integration is the practice of incorporating ESG information into investment decisions to help enhance risk-adjusted returns. ESG assesses an organization’s commitment to Environmental, Social, and Governance issues, ranging from greenhouse gas emissions, waste disposal, labor relations, employee wellness, and supply chain management to board diversity, policies and practices. Concerns for climate change have not only intensified and reinforced the importance of ESG reporting but also created a deeper drive for the integration of ESG into organizations' core business management and strategy. This workshop will offer opportunities for key industry leaders to discuss and appreciate how ESG will affect the running of organizations and influence business reporting in the future. In addition, the conversations in this workshop will help inform industry on how ESG reporting will need to be driven in Kenya. We, therefore, request that you nominate and sponsor a staff from your organization to attend by completing the Nomination Form which can be accessed through: FKE Nomination Form -ESG Workshop in NAIVASHA on 25th-26th October 2022.doc icon FKE Nomination Form -ESG Workshop in NAIVASHA on 25th-26th October 2022.doc
