Which stands for the Dutch Employers Cooperation Programme together with the federation which has been at the forefront in the fight against Corona virus infection and has called on all actors to collaborate in the design and implementation of proposed intervention measures for the good of everyone. The government, social partners and enterprises all have a critical role to play.
In these uncertain and tough times, FKE has been the voice of employers influencing debate and policy decisions in various ways including; being part of the labour sector rapid response team, collecting and collating views and preparing employers proposals on intervention measures against Covid-19, issuance of Guidelines and protocols for use by employers in helping stop the spread of the virus in line with those issued by the Directorate of Occupational Safety & Health Services (DOSHS) and the Ministry of health, submitting a memorandum to the senate and hoc committee on the proposed pandemic response and management bill, 2020 on behalf of employers conducting surveys to collect data on employers issues, holding weekly webinars for information sharing and discussion amongst employers.
