About The Event
Employees spend nearly two thirds of their waking hours at workplaces. It is therefore critical that every employer considers and prioritizes matters related to safe and healthy work environments. Through the OSH Act 2007 the law requires every employer to put in place measures that promote safety at the workplace. These measures include the formation of OSH Committees and Regular Training for all staff. Through such training programmes, workers can have a better understanding of how their work environment is set up and how they should behave while at work. With this knowledge, workers will feel more responsible in performing their duties and take any safety precautions that will help them avoid accidents while at work.
To this end, the Federation of Kenya Employers (FKE) has organized a Physical Workshop on - A practical guide to implementation of OSH principles and policies at the workplace. This course will give employers an opportunity to equip their employees with the practical knowledge and skills on the management of Health and Safety at the Workplace.
