These Awards cover three primary categories:
- Leadership commitment to mainstreaming HIV AND AIDS implementation - mainstreaming HIV and AIDS into the business performance plan; CEO approval of HIV AND AIDS policies, work plans, programmes and budget; senior management active participation in all HIV AND AIDS workplace events; and sustained commitment from senior management for HIV AND AIDS programmes
- Workplace programming - regular review of workplace programmes/policies and alignment to current legislation and national and international instruments, strategic plan and mainstreaming HIV& AIDS into every sector under pillar 2.
- Strategic partnerships in HIV and AIDS implementation - creation of strategic partnerships for skills or financing to harness the comparative advantage of others; inclusion of the informal sector through the supply chain, reporting to the national framework; and working together across all sectors to create a critical mass of action on HIV AND AIDS management.
