Rift Valley Branch PDF Print E-mail

The general committee of the Rift Valley Branch works under the Chairmanship of Mr. Paul Matelong, assisted by his Vice-Chairman – Mr. Mahendra S. Shah, and the Regional Manager – Mr. Robert Muthanga.

The branch has continued to promote and defend the interests of Employers in Rift Valley, by way of: Organizing trainings on new labour laws, HIV/AIDS, in house industrial relations courses for the disciplinary committee, as well as, open house facilitators’ training on HIV/AIDS and other management skills development courses.

The Branch general committee has continued to hold its monthly meeting to discuss the state of industrial relations in the region, state of the economy, political developments and other problems and issues facing the employers, such as matters pertaining to: poor road infrastructure, water shortages, power supply, HIV/AIDS campaign programmes, ambulance chasing and corporate social responsibility.
