Agriculture is the backbone of Kenya's economy employing over 80 percent of the population. In fact, more than 50 percent of export earnings are attributed to agricultural products with cash crops of coffee, tea, tobacco, cotton, sisal, pyrethrum, and cashew nuts leading the way.

Branches

The Federation has branches in Mombasa, Kisumu and Nakuru. The head office is in Nairobi.

The branches are managed by the respective Executive Officers, who have a team support staff.

The Federation's regional branches have Branch General Committees, facilitated by member elected chairmen of particular interest to employers operating within the respective region.
